Sheet Drain, also called Drainage sheet, is a composed by HDPE drainage board and thermally bonded with needle-punched filament nonwoven filter geotextile fabric on the backside providing higher compressive strength. The geotextile fabric allows water to pass into the drain core while restricting the movement of soil particles that might clog the core. Metal pins, construction adhesives or double sided tape are applied to attach sheet drain to waterproofing material, concrete or wood. Sheet drain is widely used for large surface drainage. It can be used vertical for green roof, retaining walls, underground buildings, roofing and decks with the function of drainage and filtration.
